Biography
Roland Will Manuel was born on September 1, 1941. His home of record is Asbury Park, NJ.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT). Manuel began his tour of duty in Vietnam on July 27, 1967. He served with Bravo Company, 4th Batallion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airbone Brigade, USARV.
Manuel was killed in action on November 21, 1967, in Vietnam, Kontum Province, as a result of multiple fragment wounds. He is buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Gastonia, North Carolina.
