Biography


Richard A. Wood was born on August 30, 1945.  His home of record is Dumont, NJ.  He worked in a bank.

He was drafted into the US Army in 1965, and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).  Wood was sent to Vietnam in 1966.

Wood was killed in action on February 4, 1967, by enemy fire while on patrol along the South Vietnamese-Cambodian border.

Wood was survived by his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Hamilton.
