Biography
Terrence Patrick Ryan was born on January 31, 1944. His home of record is Summit, NJ. He had one brother, Steven.
Terrence was in the Naval ROTC at the University of Notre Dame. He earned a letter while on the Varsity Swimming Team at Notre Dame. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1965 and a Bachelor of Science in Aero-Engineering in 1966.
Ryan received his US Naval Commission in June 1966, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant (LT). He flew F-4 Phantom Jets.
Ryan was killed in action on January 11, 1970, when the catapult failed during carrier launch.
