Judi Breitstein

Judi Breitstein grew up on the lower east side of Manhattan. She attended Brooklyn College where she received her B.A. and M.S. in Early Childhood Education.

Judi taught for seven years in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

She left teaching to attend to her own two wonderful children, Richard and Joanna. Judi has been married since February 1970 to Norman, who practices as an attorney in Marlboro, NJ. She also is grandmother to Jacob Lewis Breitstein, the sweetest little boy in the world.

Judi has been a member of the Robert E. Lee Civil War Round Table for over fifteen years. She also is the Donor Relations Chairperson for i.HUG Foundation (International Help Uganda Grow Foundation), a non-profit fundraiser that began as a dream and since 2006 funds an elementary school in Kabalagala, Uganda for desperately poor, at-risk children. Judi’s daughter, Joanna, is the President and co-founder of i.HUG. Judi has volunteered at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation since February 2000.
