John Longo’s Cross-Country Ride Raises Funds for Our Veterans

There is an undeniable connection between Vietnam Veterans and motorcycles. From the loud, beloved tradition of Rolling Thunder riding to raise awareness of POW/MIA accountability of all wars to active participation in various civilian motorcycle clubs, our Veterans have long shared a special bond with their bikes.
It feels appropriate then that a new fundraising project, spearheaded by local New Jerseyan John Longo, would take the form of a cross-country motorcycle ride. Longo’s ride to honor his father Angelo Longo, a World War II Marine Veteran, will take him from Sea Girt, NJ to San Diego, CA along the Lincoln Highway in less than two weeks. Longo kicks off his ride on Sunday, September 22nd and anticipates to end in California on October 3rd.

All proceeds from his ride will benefit United States Veterans; Longo has directed all donations to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation and Helmets to Hardhats.
