Biography
DelRay "Buddy" Jacobs was born on January 20, 1948. He had three siblings. He grew up in Indiana and later moved to Long Branch, NJ. His high school guidance records say he was a "good boy".
He entered the US Marine Corps where he attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
Jacobs was killed in action on May 9, 1967 in South Vietnam. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
