Biography
Howard H. Ashford was born on June 23, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Ashford. He had six sisters and four brothers, one of whom was named Thomas. His home of record is Newark, NJ. He was active in his church and served on the Usher Board and Church Choir.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Sergeant (SGT). He was assigned to the 9th Infantry Division.
Ashford was killed in action on March 3, 1968.
