Biography
Raymond P. Albietz was born on March 11, 1943, in Jersey City, NJ, to Ruth and Robert Albietz. His home of record is Kendall Park, NJ. He lived in Bayonne, NJ, most of his life and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1961. He moved to Kendall Park prior to entering the service. Raymond was employed in inventory control at the Dietzgen Company in North Brunswick, NJ.
Raymond served in the US Army and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL). He was assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division.
Albietz was killed in action on January 22, 1967.
Memorial arrangements were handled by M.J. Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction, NJ. He is buried in Franklin Memorial Park.
