Biography


Thomas A. Marchut was born on December 3, 1947.  His home of record is Sayreville, NJ.  Thomas attended Sayreville War Memorial High School.

He served in the US Army with Co C 1-22BN, 4th Infantry Division and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).

Marchut was killed in action on February 5, 1968. He was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, the Distinguished Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the RVN Campaign Medal and the New Jersey Service Medal.
