Biography
Gregory A. Watson was born on December 13, 1946. His home of record is Teaneck, NJ. He graduated from Teaneck High School in 1964, where he excelled in sports. Gregory was a member of the Amateur Athletic Union and the Bergen Pacers.
He joined the US Navy and served briefly in Hawaii before being sent to Vietnam. Watson attained the rank of Yeoman Third Class (YN3).
Watson died on November 3, 1967 at 20 years of age of a heart attack while aboard the USS Coral Sea during his second tour of duty in Vietnam.
