Biography
Rockwell S. Herron was born on August 29, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Herron. His home of record is Haworth, NJ.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). Herron was attached to the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Herron was killed in action on March 25, 1967, while engaged in Operation Junction City, a major 83-day effort to push the Viet Cong out of strongholds northwest of Saigon.
