Biography
Richard M. Dell'Arena was born on April 10, 1947. His home of record is Egg Harbor, NJ. Richard was part of Sigma Chi Delta fraternity while attending East Carolina University.
He served in the US Army as Military Policeman with the AMERICAL Division. Dell'Arena attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). He was stationed at LZ Bayonet near the village of Duc Pho.
Dell'Arena was killed in action on April 1, 1970, Quang Tin Province.
His fraternity brother, Robert McAuliffe, Jr., was also stationed at the same Landing Zone in Vietnam, however, they did not know that the other one was there.
