Biography
Lester Bridges was born on November 23,1942. His home of record is Newark, NJ. He grew up with his grandmother. Bridges graduated from Southside High School.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He had been drafted. He was part of the Charlie Co. (Death from Above), 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Air Cav. Division. He was a machine gunner.
Bridges was killed in action on February 18, 1967. He is buried at Glewood Memorial Cemetery in Riviera Beach, FL.
