Biography
Swante A. Swenson was born on October 6, 1942. His home of record is Denville, NJ. Swenson was a member of the Morris Hills Regional High School class of 1961. While at Morris Hills, Swenson was a member of the Scarlet Knights football team. He was easy going and fun loving. He often found himself being a quiet leader who was well respected by his peers, teachers and the adult community. He attended Utah State University.
Swenson served in the US Army and attained the rank of First Lieutenant (1LT). He joined the Army in 1967 and was soon therefore sent to Vietnam.
Swenson was killed in action on January 11, 1968.
