Biography
Donald Allaway was born on July 22, 1945. His home of record is Matawan, NJ. He had one sister, Susan. Allaway graduated from Matawan Regional High School in 1966.
He served in the US Army where he attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He received his training at Fort Dix and Fort Wainwrignt. He was part of the HHC, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry.
He was killed in action on May 18, 1966. Donald is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. He received the Bronze Star Medal posthumously.
