Biography


Everett J. Meester was born on January 8, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Meester.  His home of record is Mahwah, NJ.  Meester graduated from Mahwah High School in 1965. 

He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).

Meester was killed in action on October 24, 1968.

Meester was survived by his parents and his wife, Lois.

The American Legion Post in Mahwah has been named in memory of Everett Meester and two other Mahwah casualties, Norman Hetzel and Patrick Brems.
