Biography


Robert George Reynolds was born on January 7, 1948, to John and Julia Reynolds.  He had two sisters, Carol and Patricia and a brother, John.  Robert enjoyed sailing, fishing and basketball.  He graduated from Neptune High School.

Reynolds entered the US Army in 1965, where he attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).  His tour in Vietnam began on August 27, 1966, where he served in Company B, 299th Engineers.

Reynolds was killed in action on June 11, 1967 in Pleiku Province, South Vietnam.  He was awarded the Purple Heart.
