Biography
Robert W. Woods was born on November 26, 1943. His home of record is West Orange, NJ. He had one sister, Joanie, and a brother, Howard. Robert graduated from West Orange High School in 1961. In high school, he played Junior Varsity Football and was a member of the electronics club.
He served in the US Army where he attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).
Woods was killed in action in Vietnam on August 13, 1968. He was survived by his wife, JoAnn, and son, Robert.
