Biography


Brian D. Conlan, Jr.was born on February 6, 1943.  His home of record is South Orange, NJ.  He graduated from St. Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark, NJ, in 1961.

Conlan attended Seton Hall University and was part of the ROTC Program and a member of the ROTC military fraternity (The Triphibian Guards).  He was at home on the football field.  He did not receive an ROTC Army commission from Seton Hall, but instead enlisted in the US Marine Corps.

While in the US Marine Corps, he went on to Platoon Leaders Course and was commissioned at the rank of Second Lieutenant (2LT).

Conlan was killed in action on January 25, 1967.
