Biography
William H. Satterfield was born on September 23, 1949. His home of record is Orange, NJ. William graduated from Orange High School in 1967. In high school, he was part of the Boys’ Bowling Club and Latin Club.
He served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Lance Corporal (LCPL). He was assigned to 1st Platoon, H Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines
Satterfield was killed in action on February 23, 1969. He is buried at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
