Biography
Franklin C. Armento was born on September 5, 1941. His home of record is Irvington, NJ. He had one sister, Clarissa.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).
Armento was killed in action on March 15, 1968. He was killed by a rocket from an ambush during the Tet Offensive in 1968. His crew nicknamed him "Pops." He was survived by his wife, Ann.
He is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
