Thomas A. Lowden was born on April 23, 1938, to Gordon and Helen Lowden.  His home of record is Burlington, NJ.  He had eight brothers and sisters.  He graduated from Burlington City High School in 1957.  He enjoyed playing football and golf.

Lowden was married to Walburga Lowden and had two children, Thomas and Yasmine.

He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT).

Lowden was killed in action on September 27, 1966.  He was buried in Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.

Lowden received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
