Thomas R. Grover was born on August 22, 1946.  His home of record is Trenton, NJ.  Thomas grew up in Dutch Neck, NJ, just outside Princeton.  His family had a farm where he helped out.  He participated in Cub Scouts.

Grover served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).

Grover was killed in action on February 2, 1969.

The Thomas R. Grover Middle School is named in his honor.
