Resource Library

There are 1,500 titles in the collection of reference materials in the Resource Library of the Vietnam Era Educational Center. These include books, audio recordings, video recordings, teachers' guides and classroom activity kits, and interactive CD-Roms. There is also a selection of periodicals published since the Vietnam Era.
We offer several bibliographies of materials from our collection, grouped according to topics or themes of interest. These books and other reference materials are available, by appointment, for on-site research only.
The resource center has a dual purpose:
To enable visitors to initiate research into the Vietnam Era and to direct them to appropriate subject-related materials and the local, state or national facilities where these items can be borrowed or obtained.
To assist veterans and other interested visitors in locating biographies about the 1,562 men and women killed from New Jersey, and to assist in locating and identifying New Jersey personnel who served in the armed forces from 1959-1975.
The Resource Library is a non-lending library. If you could like to conduct on-site research, please call our main number at 732.335.0033 to make an appointment. Please call one day prior to the date you wish to make your appointment. Appointments can be scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.
