Robert J. Burroughs was born on June 26, 1942.  His home of record is Hamilton Square, NJ.  He had one sister, Mary Ann.  Bob was a nice guy, always had a smile and a joke or funny story.  He loved his Oldsmobile.  He liked to hang out in Groveville, NJ, and work on his car.  He had a garage in Wrightstown, NJ, with a friend.

He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).  Burroughs was assigned to Company D, 4^th Battalion, 9^th Infantry Regiment, 25^th Infantry Division.

Burroughs was killed in action on October 14, 1967.
