Phillip C. Adams was born on May 24, 1950, to Matthew and Betty Adams.  His home of record is Camden, NJ. He graduated from Camden High School.

He married Karrenn R. Gauthney in June of 1967, and they had two children, Phillip C. II. and Valencia.

He entered the US Army and attained the rank of Private (PVT).

Adams was killed in action on May 5, 1970.
