Louis Vincent Romanelli was born on June 9, 1931. His home of record is Willingboro, NJ.
Romanelli served in the US Navy and attained the rank of Hospital Corpsman First Class (HM1). He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division.
Romanelli was killed on March 16, 1969, near Dong Ha, Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam, when he was struck by fragments from an enemy grenade while he was providing aid to a wounded soldier.
He was survived by his wife, Sylvia.
