Dennis James Patrick Brophy was born on June 2, 1944, to Lawrence and Mary Brophy.  His home of record is Trenton, NJ.  Dennis had four siblings, Lawrence, Martin, Ann Marie and Kathleen.  He enjoyed racing motorcycles.  He graduated from Notre Dame High School

On June 9, 1965, Brophy entered the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).  He was assigned to the 7th Cavalry

Brophy was killed in action on January 29, 1966.
