Daniel J. Giordano III was born on August 2, 1949 to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Giordano. His home of record is Hi-Nella, NJ. He graduated from Sterling Regional High School.

He served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He joined the Marine Corps in August of 1968.He was assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines.

Giordano was killed in action on May 18, 1969. He died of injuries sustained in a helicopter crash. Daniel is buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, Camden County, NJ.
