Accessibility

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Foundation welcomes all visitors to the Memorial and Museum.  The Foundation is committed to meeting the standards of physical accessibility outlined below.

Parking

Designated spaces are available in the parking lot in front of the Museum for visitors with disabilities.  If you need further assistance please call the Foundation's office first at (732) 335-0033.

Wheelchairs

The Museum is accessible to wheelchair users.  All doors to the Museum have wheelchair accessible buttons to hold the doors open.  Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first come, first-serve basis.  Please call in advance of our ceremonies when wheelchairs are in demand to request one.

Sign Language Interpretation

Sign language interpreters may be requested for Museum programs.  At least two weeks' notice is required.  Please call (732) 335-0033.

Large Print

The Museum tries to keep all exhibit text at a easy-to-read text size.  Large-print labels are available for some exhibits please contact us in advance of your exhibit to ensure their availability.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in the Museum.

Verbal Imaging Tours

Please contact us in advance of your visit if you would like to use our handling collection (objects for touch) for visitors who are blind or partially sighted.
