Biography


Robert Emmett Pierson was born on February 6, 1948.  His home of record is Chatham, NJ.  Robert attended Chatham High School.  He played baseball and loved helping people.

Robert served in the US Army with the 1st Aviation Battalion and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).

Pierson was killed in action on March 21, 1969.  He was awarded the Air Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
