Biography


Charles H. Davis was born on April 12, 1947, to Mabel and James Davis.  He had one sister, Cynthia, and two brothers, Wayne and W. Clinton. Charles was the oldest.  He grew up in King George, VA, with his father.  He loved to dance and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  When he was 18, he moved to New Jersey to live with his mother and work for the Campbell Soup Company.  His home of record is Camden, NJ.   

Davis served in the US Army.  He attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).

Davis was killed in action on January 12, 1969. He is buried at Little Ark Baprist Church Cemetery in Virgina.
